Beginnings SC is hosting its annual Back to School Bash on July 25 in Columbia, South Carolina, bringing together families of children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing for a morning of community, resources, school supplies, and family connection before the new school year begins.

This family-friendly Deaf community event in South Carolina will feature fun children’s activities, advocacy-themed crafts, bracelet making stations, school supply support, and opportunities for families to connect with local resources and organizations. The Back to School Bash is designed to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and families while creating an inclusive and welcoming environment focused on education, accessibility, and community engagement.

Volunteers and community supporters are encouraged to get involved through activity sponsorships, school supply donations, and event-day volunteering opportunities including setup, greeting families, assisting with activity tables, and cleanup.
